Stream of joy is a home-stay run by one of the most revered couple of Arasinamakki, inside their estate next to the river Kapila. Surrounded by beetlenut trees, rubber plants and lots of spices, its almost like staying in a private jungle. A small tributary of netravati flows just behind the homestay.
Walk through the evergreen shady forest and reach the peak. As you dare the cold breeze, you will look around the picturesque layers and layers of hills. Savor one of the tastiest of vegetarian Mangalorean food, served with warmth of hospitality.
They have 2 Cottages, 3 huts with good basic facilities. Very neatly maintained.
The very warm host is happy to take you fish feeeding or rafting on a bamboo raft. They even have a mini man made waterfall.
Expect to eat very basic but super tasty vegetarian local fare. Alcohol and smoking is not encouraged. Great place for kids to run in the plantations, gardens and on riverbanks.
