Gone Fishing Cottages are family homes located on the banks of the Kalwari stream and in the eco-zone of the Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Imbued with the austere yet rustic charm of a forest cabin, each of the cottages have brick walls, views of the valley and warm lighting. Hosts Upendra and Dimple Kamra accompany guests on fishing trips to the Tirthan river, visits to the nearby Sarchi village and guided tours to the surrounding orchards and waterfalls.

Getting there:
The best way is to drive yourself. The roads are newly constructed all the way. Drive down in One day: An early morning departure at 5 a.m. from Delhi should have you in Chandigarh by 11 a.m., at Aut (Himachal Pradesh) by 5 p.m. and at the Tirthan Valley by 6 p.m. in time to freshen up!
Flights are available from Delhi to Bhuntar. Chandigarh to Bhuntar. You could fly down to Bhuntar Airport, and drive for an hour and a half to Tirthan Valley.
